Style B Configuration - Back Crimp Design
Style B elbows have the crimped end on the back face of the fitting. This configuration is required when your downspout seam faces the wall. Using Style A fittings on a Style B system creates misaligned joints and leak points. Check your existing downspouts: if the seam faces the wall, you need Style B. If the seam faces outward, you need Style A.
Key Features:
- Sharp 75 Degree Angle: Aggressive angle for tight spaces and deep fascia transitions
- Style B Back Crimp: Required for seam-to-wall downspout systems
- Corrugated Ribbed Construction: Enhanced structural strength at critical bend point
- .019 Gauge Aluminum: Industry-standard thickness for durability
- 31 Factory Colors: Match any gutter system or exterior
- Baked Enamel Finish: UV-resistant coating for long-lasting color
- 2x3 Inch Profile: Fits all standard residential downspout systems
- Rust-Free: No corrosion, no maintenance, decades of service

When to Use 75 Degree Style B:
Use this elbow when your system has seam-to-wall orientation AND you need a sharp angle for deep fascia boards (8 inches or wider), wide roof overhangs, limited soffit space, or compact routing. The 75 degree angle creates aggressive directional changes where standard 45 degree elbows cannot make the required transition.
Style A vs Style B:
Style A (Front Crimp): Crimped end on front face. Use when downspout seam faces outward (away from wall). Most common residential configuration.
Style B (Back Crimp): Crimped end on back face. Use when downspout seam faces wall. Required for matching existing Style B systems. Do not mix Style A and Style B fittings in the same system.

Common Applications:
- Matching Existing Style B Systems: All fittings must match for proper alignment
- Deep Fascia Transitions: 8+ inch fascia boards need sharp angles
- Seam-to-Wall Orientation: Back crimp aligns with inward-facing seams
- Commercial Buildings: Many commercial systems use Style B configuration
- Repair and Replacement: Seamless integration with existing Style B installations
- Compact Soffit Areas: Limited space with Style B system requirements
