Installation Overview
- Measure and order: Measure total fascia length and provide your cut list. Add 10% for waste. Confirm color at pickup.
- Establish slope: Mark a chalk line from high point to low point at 1/16"–1/8" drop per foot toward the downspout outlet.
- Install hangers: Space 6K hidden hangers every 24–30 inches along the chalk line. Use #9 hex-head screws into the fascia or rafter tails.
- Set the gutter: Snap the front lip of the gutter over the hanger hook, then press the back into the hanger clip. Work from the high end toward the outlet.
- Install outlet: Mark and cut the outlet hole. Crimp a 6K outlet (3x4 inch) into position and seal with gutter sealant on the interior joint.
- Install end caps: Crimp and seal left and right end caps at each open gutter end.
- Connect downspout: Attach a 3x4-inch downspout to the outlet using a downspout elbow as needed. Secure with sheet-metal screws and downspout straps every 6 ft.
- Seal seams: Apply gutter sealant to any field-cut seams or joints. Allow to cure 24 hours before water exposure.
- Test with water: Run water from the high end to confirm slope and check all sealed joints for leaks before finalizing.
