The MP 2010-13IN standoff poles are a matched pair of 13-inch heavy-duty steel positioning tools designed to support and hold a gutter section at the correct fascia height during installation. The 13-inch standoff length provides enough reach to hold 5-inch and 6-inch K-style or half-round gutters steady against the roofline while the installer drives hangers or screws — eliminating the need for a second person to hold the gutter in place. Each set includes 2 poles. The MP 2010 orange safety tips are sold separately and required for full system operation.

Standoff poles solve one of the most common gutter installation challenges: holding a long section of gutter at the correct pitch and height against the fascia while simultaneously reaching overhead to drive hangers. Without a second person or a positioning tool, the gutter must be propped against the roof — which damages the fascia, affects pitch accuracy, and slows down the job.
The 13-inch length places the installer's hand at a comfortable working distance from the fascia, reducing shoulder strain and allowing full range of motion for driving screws overhead.
Two poles allow one installer to support both ends of a gutter section simultaneously. Set both poles at the correct pitch marks, rest the gutter, then fasten — no helper needed for runs up to 20 feet.
The poles pair with MP 2010 series tips, which grip the front lip of the gutter to prevent slipping during positioning. Tips must be ordered separately — see the related products section below.
